The annual Rugby Open shows work from local artists, and now also further afield. It runs mid-November – mid-January. Admission is free. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Applications are accepted from September, so save the date for next year. Youth entries are also encouraged.
Floor One gallery is a hireable space for artists, makers, and groups to exhibit their own work. It is booked months ahead and there is a ballot where requested dates are oversubscribed. Contact RAGM to be added to the email list.
The Nest, Rugby high street. They hire space for selling and workshops and take a % on any sales.
Fosse House Gallery, Dunchurch.
Anna Lorimer has a gallery, and picture framing, in the town centre which hosts mainly her own work.
Solstice coffee shop and nursery at Dunchurch hosts artists’ and makers’ work in its coffee shop.
Practical Action Publishing have a bookshop in the town centre and are happy to discuss showcasing and selling the work of local artists and makers. Opening hours are limited. Outside of bookshop hours the space may be hired. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Rugby Unwrapped sells the work of selected local makers; mainly practical, useful items.
Moriarty’s Cafe and Gallery is currently closed but the cafe is a hireable “pop up”/event space.
GJF Furnishings in Southam hosts local makers.
Farthing Gallery, Kenilworth
Simply Salvaged Interiors is in the Heart of the Shires shopping village just off the A5 near Weedon, Northamptonshire. It stocks art, handmade, vintage & upcycled. Artists and makers can rent space and are charged a % on sales. They also have a hireable space for workshops.
