Rugby Artists and Makers Network have held annual exhibitions since 2021 and the work of our Network members is regularly to be seen at The Alex, where exhibitions change monthly and there are regular open calls.  To exhibit with us you need to be a part of our Network.  There’s no fee but there is an expectation that you will play an active part in our Network and what it does, beyond simply exhibiting.

Opportunities open to all (subject to each venue’s individual T&Cs) are listed below.

Rugby Art Gallery and Museum has a hireable exhibition space, Floor One Gallery.  It is also possible to exhibit on the first floor gallery and in the outdoor MOAT gallery in Jubilee Gardens.

RAGM also hosts the annual Rugby Open exhibition, with submissions accepted from September each year.

Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum and The Herbert in Coventry each also host an annual open exhibition.

The LSA Art Room exhibits the work of LSA members.  Several of our Network members are involved.

Warwickshire Open Studios is an opportunity to exhibit, either in your own studio or elsewhere each summer. Membership has other benefits including a web page for the membership year. Registration is December to end of January.

Art in the Park in nearby Leamington Spa each summer is a two-day art festival with exhibitor stands, workshops, music, performance, and food and drink.  Applications to exhibit and sell are now judged.

The LTB in Coventry is temporary but offers great “pay what you can” opportunities for artists to exhibit and express their creativity.  In early 2025 they have left the Litten Tree Building and are beginning to work in the Priory Visitor Centre.

Chainlinks is an email bulletin put together by Cheshire West and Chester Council which includes nationwide opportunities for exhibitions, residencies, jobs, funding and more. Email artswest@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk to subscribe.

OESS and the OList (register for emails) connects artists with UK ‘Calls to Artists’ and other UK arts opportunities.
